#105 Hina³
Username: pyrozblast
Character Name: Hina³
Stage Name: N/A
Age: 17
Experiment Number: #105
Faction (and Expertise): Hina is a Spec-doll performer. She performs many traditional dances that she has learned from books, but she adds things from dances to compensate for the lack of knowledge for the dance she is trying to perform from the books. The only dance that she knows from books are the Hula, Belly Dancing, Irish Slip Jig and a Scottish Highland Dance. All the other dances are made up to her and come to mind after inspiration.
Mutation: Hina has the most successful version of Promethean Virus to date since it has not only bonded with her cells, but it has also bonded directly to her DNA. Since it is bonded to her DNA, she has been given a form of hyper regeneration for making complete reconstruction of bones, muscles, certain organ tissues (not major organs), the skin of her body (and others) in the matter of a few hours. Of course this comes with a lethal price; with each time she regenerates large amounts of her body, she can go into a coma for as long as it takes to be regenerated. However, if it carries on for more than twelve hours, she will die. No exceptions. She can also use this mutation to heal any person with a similar version of Promethean by dripping a few drops of blood into the blood of the other person. Her current stage is the fourth out of the five stages of Promethean, much higher than Aria’s has ever gotten.
Dorm Number: #29
Appearance: Hina has pale skin, crystal blue eyes and very long, straight white hair that is held up in a single high ponytail and tied with a long yellow ribbon. She is 5' 9" and has a light, agile build form training constantly during the morning and afternoon hours of training. She normally wears medium length dresses, and she prefers them to be dark colored. She sometimes wears shorts and a black shirt, but mostly while she is training. She also wears black fingerless gloves to hide a scar from when her right hand was pierced by Aria’s sword as a warning.
Her performance outfit is slightly different from her casual and training wear. The outfit is always a dress for the dance she is about to perform that night. The color varies from a light green to red to the dark hue of black.
Personality: To state right off the bat, Hina has two different personalities. One is normally hidden behind the dominate personality and you will know actually which one is the dominate one after they are stated.
Hina’s first personality is very calm, charming, loyal, innocent and affectionate to everyone. She is also quite a perfectionist, liking to make everything too perfect by doing it by the book. Also, Hina is way too trustworthy, trusting everyone and everything that people say. Just the opposite of her original, Aria. This personality does not remember anything about her past besides the fact that she is a clone.
The second personality is something to fear if a person ever sees it. This one is very anti-social, keeping to herself when her switch is flipped. It can also be quite mysterious at times since no one knows that she is an altered clone of #071. This one remembers everything about her past, including the deaths of her sisters. She also writes notes to her other, innocent self for various reasons.
Background: Hina, born from the tissue of Aria’s skin and the virus DNA of Promethean, has always been an awkward child since the time she was created. She, along with two others, were created to test the deadly effects of the Promethean soon after Aria had bonded with it. The scientists told the three of them that they were clones of the original person that bonded with Promethean.
All three of them lived together during their first few days of being alive, but unfortunate things happened. Hina’s sister clones were killed by their bodies overloading, becoming toxic to all living things (even Hina), and melting into nothing. This is where the scientists learned of the stages of Promethean and how the virus reacts besides just being a parasitic disease that feeds off of the cells of normal people. For a long time after her sisters’ deaths, Hina fell into a deep grief struck depression that lasted for many years until the scientists strapped her onto a table to undergo further testing. During the whole test, tears streamed down Hina’s face as she remember the gory scenes of her sisters melting because of the virus and her the only one living through it. That is when something snapped in Hina’s mind and split her personality into two separate beings, which only the one similar to Aria knows about the other innocent one. Even the memory she had was split, one knowing everything about her sisters and how they died, while the other obeys the every order of the scientists to the last detail.
To this very day Hina does not know that her alter ego exists but finds strange notes saying not to trust the people that command her, for they are the ones that took everything from her. Her life and her purpose were molded by the very people that created her. On one side, an innocent soul just doing what she is told, and the other side, a lone wolf hell-bent on escaping the place that made her suffer.
Relationships:
* Aria - The only reason that she has a relationship with Aria is that Hina is the genetic duplicate of Aria. Since Hina knows that she is a clone of #071, she stays away from the original as much as possible upon order from the scientists. She also holds a major dislike for how gloomy and anti-social Aria can be.
* Hina¹ and Hina² - Hina’s one and true family, but both died due to an accident involving their bodies rejecting Promethean. They melted in front of Hina because of this.
Trivia:
* You will never see Hina and Aria together in the same place for long amounts of time since the two dislike each other.
* Hina’s nanobots were based off of Aria’s nanobots except with one exception. Her nanobots were placed inside her shortly after being created, but were activated when Hina had bonded with the virus. They are also more improved than the ones Aria has to use, these being able to last exactly ten years before being replaced. Reason being that they have a thicker shell and can withstand direct assaults from the virus.

#178 Dove
Username: Ryuya
Character Name: Dove
Stage Name: Isis
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Experiment Number: #178
Faction (and Expertise): Dove is a member of the Spec-Dolls, specializing in sword dancing. Her act focuses more on the dance than the swords. In fact, she knows pretty much nothing about swords except for the fact that they are sharp and will hurt if she messes up. Her routine is pretty simple in that she twirls around on stage with a pair of very sharp and real blades with giant leaps and pirouettes. A lot of her dance routine is borrowed from ballet though some are made up from her own imagination. Other parts she altered to fit the weapons she holds so that they don’t accidentally slip from her grip and go flying into the audience.
Mutation: Mutated hemoglobin; The scientists altered Dove’s DNA so that they start producing these mutated hemoglobin that carries more oxygen than the normal ones. The idea was that if a human body can carry more oxygen to more areas quickly, the body won’t be tired so easily and can continue doing what it is doing longer. While it was somewhat successful in that Dove can do more exertive activities longer than a normal human, her body was not made to withstand the strain these activities put on her muscles. If she continues to do exertive activities with disregard to her body, she can easily become lightheaded and dizzy from inhaling too much oxygen and, in extreme cases, her muscles can shut down and she will be immobilized.
Dorm Number: #28
Appearance: Dove’s appearance looks nothing like her name suggests; though her skin is pale from the lack of sunlight, her hair is a rich chestnut brown and her eyes are dark brown, almost black in color. She is petite, standing at a height of only 5’3” or 160 cm, but seems to command the stage with a powerful presence despite her small stature. Her hair is wavy and layered, the shortest part ending near mid-chest and the longest part which is the back part of her head ends at her waist. She has short bangs that sweep to the right, ending above her high brow. She usually wears a knee-length skirt with tights, if cold, and shin-high boots alongside a simple shirt and a thin sweater. For her act, she wears a black tutu with a gigantic bow at the back with long ends that trail on the floor as well as detached flowing sleeves.
Personality: Not a lot could be said about Dove: she keeps to herself most of the time, only speaking in soft tones when addressed. In fact, many people will not even know she exists if she didn’t perform and train daily. She hides out in her room most of the time and when she is outside, she keeps her eyes to the floor and avoids contact with others. The only other time in which she is unlike her usual self is when she is performing. There is an unmistakable flame in her eyes when she twirls on stage but this flame seems to disappear as soon as she steps off.
What can be said is that she is slightly paranoid about everything and suspicious about everyone. All she has known is this lab and everyone she knew hurt her so she has grown to be suspicious about others’ intentions and tends not to trust many people, scientists in particular. Though she might not be speaking, her mind is constantly working and debating with itself about whether or not to do a certain thing and if this person can and will cause her harm. She is very analytical about everything and weighs the pros and cons of everything before actually doing it.
Background: For as long as she can remember, Dove was in the lab. She knows nothing about her family or even her name. For a long time, she was simply known as her experiment number. As she grew up, people came to her room and left, sometimes bringing her to a room where people in white lab coats prodded and poked at her and asked if there was some significant response to a shot. There was no one to hold her at night when she cried, no one to tell her it was alright when she skinned her knee. Eventually, she simply stopped crying. She even stopped talking until they punished her for not cooperating. Throughout her life, a female scientist was always present in her experiments. She was the lead scientist in charge of Dove and her mutations. Whenever they were together, this woman called her pet names like dove and honey while she pumped the young girl full of some strange liquid. Since she didn’t know her name and no one seemed to call her anything but a number, she chose the name Dove herself.
This woman scientist was the closest to a mother figure to Dove although she acted nothing like a mother. As she got older, she learned that she was born specifically to take part in this experiment and that her parents were the same people who were causing her pain by injecting her with various serums. Deep in her heart, she hoped that her parents were nice and caring people who lost her when she was little. This fact disillusioned her from her hopes and it was then she started to distrust people, adults especially.
When she wasn’t being experimented on, she read the books they gave her as she tried to learn to read and write on her own. She wasn’t entirely sure whether or not she did it correctly but it was sufficient enough for her to read harder books. Her favorite book was one about Egyptian mythologies and her idol was the Goddess Isis. After the circus was established, she chose the name Isis for her stage name through the help of a friend.
Relationships:
* Anemone: a young contortionist who seeks her knowledge in dance. Though she was paranoid about Anemone’s intentions in the beginning, she had done nothing to prove that she wants to harm Dove so she welcomes her presence. Anemone might be the only person Dove is comfortable around and it helps that they share similar interests. It was through talks with Anemone that she decided on Isis for her stage name.
Trivia:
* She likes sweets and would hide away any that she got in her room where she would nibble at them in small portions so they would last longer.
* She believes that the scientists would eventually do something that will cause the death of every single one of them and she is very afraid of that happening.
* Dove is less paranoid around smaller children than older ones.

#345 Anemone
Username: Kirakishou
Character Name: Anemone
Stage Name: Viride
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Experiment Number: #345
Faction (and Expertise): Anemone is a Spec-Doll Contortionist. Due to experimentation her bones have become less firm and more flexible, making her bend like rubber. The fact she is also very small helps her perform. Although specializing in contortion, she enjoys adding dance to heighten the experience of her shows. Seemingly she enjoys the profession and has accepted the fact this is where she belongs, and if not in the circus, then in the ground with the flowers.
Mutation: Infused into this young girl are plant cells. Being taken in at the age she was, her growth was altogether stunted. On a daily basis she requires sunlight (or artificial) and water, that is all. She has no reason to eat food seeing as she doesn’t wish to harm anything living (yes, vegetarians, plants are living). But of course she understands regularly food is the only way to survive and holds it against no one for eating her little plant friends. Sometimes she might have to give in to eating if she feels she did not receive enough nutrients. Because of the injected Chlorophyll, her hair has turned green and almost grass-like in texture. If she does not receive enough light, it may begin to wilt and turn a darker color. Along with her hair, the back of her neck and along her spine her skin has turned a bright green. The rest of her skin naturally holds a slight green tint.
Dorm Number: #28
Appearance: Short and petite are two words that describe Anemone without fail. But her green hair and lightly green skin may force people to believe she’s an alien. Her hair is short, not falling past her shoulders and frames her thin face, emphasizing her wide violet eyes. She stands at a measly 4’7 and is light enough to be picked up by even the weakest of people. Whatever is found in her closet she’ll wear (as long as it’s comfortable) considering she doesn’t overly care how she looks as long as it is presentable. She does enjoy dresses for easy movement. Though she doesn’t enjoy overly constricting clothing, she has a certain fondness for her leotard.
Personality: Her eyes are always staring and always analyzing, and she prefers to remain in the background and watch human interactions rather than take part. She is quiet and reserved, speaking no more than need to be said. Constantly she is soaking up information as she does sunlight. At night she reads any books she can get ahold of to expand her vast amount of knowledge. She is quite smart and very mature for her age and expresses this in her speech. Her lips are stuck in a permanent frown and although she appears rather sullen, she is neither optimistic or pessimistic. Anemone is merely a realist and acts according to logic opposed to emotion. This young girl has a lot of self control, meaning if there’s something she wants, she won’t take it unless she really needs it. This leads to her belief, human relations are a mere want and not a necessity. She may come off as a little rude at times but not purposefully.
Surprisingly, she has been this way her whole life; the scientists experiments seem to have not fazed her in the least. If anything it has made her more mature to try and understand their reasoning and why this has happened to her. Not a single tear had ever been shed. If asked, she may respond that it soon became numb to the point she couldn’t feel anything anymore.
Besides learning, her second greatest passion is found in the shows she performs. The music is capable of drowning out the world and her dance lets her forget there are hundreds of eyes watching. Her contortion she performs thoroughly to receive the praise she so desires thus exerting her entire heart into her work. Sometimes a faint smile can be seen amidst her movement.
Background: Before Adeline had been born, her father had died. This left a single mother on her own with a newly born child. All was well until Adeline entered school. When grades started to matter, it seemed the girl was having trouble. Soon it was diagnosed that she had a learning disability; difficulty processing information. Already her mother was suffering to keep the both of them healthy, but knowing her daughter would require extra help, that was the last straw. She ended up putting Adeline up for adoption at the age of seven. Never had she held it against her mother, she felt a burden whenever she had to watch her cry. Not soon after, it happened to be her the scientists adopted.
Inside the lab she was lucky enough to receive a few hand-me-down books to try and help her practice and get better at coping with her disability. One book happened to be a Greek mythology book. Upon finding the story of Venus and Adonis, she had named herself Anemone. Anemone was a flower bloomed from Venus’s tears after Adonis’s death. She found the story similar to her own, seeing as her father had died before her birth and that she was being experimented on to be a plant. Instead of just a plant, she decided to be a flower, and refused and persisted until the name Anemone was hers.
Relationships:
* Ivan Azarov: This person Anemone considers to be an acquaintance. Though she feels she shouldn’t attach herself to very many people, this is one that she has allowed. She feels as though her views are respected and she respects his own. In free time she may take up the task of teaching him about certain subjects he lacks. This seems to be something she enjoys very much.
* Dove: Seeing as dancing is not Anemone’s specialty but is for Dove, they often train together. She quite enjoys her presence and as her personality suggests, she enjoys learning from her. They both often discuss mythologies and other stories.
Trivia:
* It takes Anemone twice as long to read a book due to her disability, but feels as if the information grows easier to absorb every day.
* Anemone suffers from insomnia and rarely sleeps. This began when she was adopted into the lab.
* Any music that includes violins she instantly loves.
* She learned sign language for fun back in the lab.

#566 Mono
Username: Lute
Character Name: Mono
Stage Name: N/A
Age: 12
Gender: Female.
Experiment Number: #566
Faction (and Expertise): A spec-doll, more specifically training as a contortionist.
Mutation: Decalcified bones is what. However, decalcified might be too strong a word. Let’s say that in the DNA mix, collagen, which is responsible for making the human bone flexible, was deliberately manipulated in order to “dominate” the calcium phosphate complexes (which in turn keep the bones hard and strong). The result was a child whose bones had the consistency of hard rubber.
Appearance: A girl with adorable features, Mono’s greatest asset is her face. From cinnamon brown hair to eyes colored a beautiful royal purple, people have always commented on how she looked much like a princess from a storybook. If one wasn’t be swayed by these facets, then Mono simply turned her sweet dimpled smile on them and the problem was solved. She gets quite embarrassed when someone compliments her rosy skin, hinting that the girl isn’t one who loves preening in front of a mirror. However, her height somewhat terrifies her. Since her bones were rendered softer, more flexible than the norm, her stature is… tiny. She appears almost ¾ of her age, and the exertion of having to endure monthly bone marrow examinations (required to make sure the collagen didn’t completely overwhelm her system) was becoming more evident in her frail frame.
Personality: For such a beautiful girl to be fitted with an ugly mutation, Mono has an unbelievably sweet demeanor. Since everyone else had mutations that were almost as bad as hers, nobody made fun of Mono except some of the meaner kids, but she does well not to pay them any attention. Her resilience stems from the fact that she was born “with a streak of fire”. This undeterred will has made her quite popular amongst the other kids, and she has been recognized as an integral part of the circus “family”, or at least by its younger members.
Mono believes that she must be brave and live her life to the fullest, even if there are obstacles in the way. Using this ideology, she refers to her mutation as nothing but a mere “obstacle” and is one of the most accepting experiments on site. This can be referred to as being dense, though.
Although she is determined and resilient, Mono’s willpower resists anything up to a limit: knowledge. She shrinks away from any logical argument or fact and abhors hearing that the odds are stacked against her side. She also has a fear of being rejected, which is why she has opted to be everyone’s social support instead of someone’s outstanding best friend.
Background: Mono was raised by her parents up to when she was a month old. They died in a car accident while she was left in the care of a nanny. Thus, having no other legal guardian to support her, Mono was sent to an orphanage. Within a month she was adopted by the scientists, who no doubt admired her rare beauty.
Trivia:
* Mono adores cooking and music. Because of this she has an irrepressible desire to enter the kitchen or to mess with the circus sound system. She has yet to gather the courage, though.
* It might be because of the bone mutation, but Mono has an undeniably low pain threshold.
